Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Bennett Kawata, our Dentist in Los Angeles, CA, was born and raised in the West Los Angeles area, where he attended Venice High School. He pursued his undergraduate studies in biology at Loyola Marymount University and, in 1988, earned his DDS degree from the USC School of Dentistry.

Dentistry runs in Dr. Bennett's family, with his father, brother, and sister also being accomplished dentists. Following in the footsteps of his late father, Dr. Sakae Kawata, who established a highly respected dental practice, Dr. Bennett joined the family legacy. Working alongside his late father, he had the invaluable opportunity to learn from a seasoned professional and mentor, gaining insights into the art and science of dentistry.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Bennett finds joy in exploring new destinations and cultures, indulging in auto sports, fishing, and golfing. He cherishes spending quality time with his loved ones, be it family or friends. Dr. Bennett and his "foodie" wife, Sandra, embark on culinary adventures during their travels and find pleasure in experimenting with flavors and cuisines at home.

Dr. Lani Tittle grew up under the influence of many dentists. She is the granddaughter of Dr. Sakae Kawata and the niece of Dr. Bennett Kawata. She comes from a family of dental professionals, including both parents and her sister, brother, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers.

Dr. Lani was born and raised in Walnut Creek, CA. She received a degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego, where she also competed on the university's water polo team. Dr. Lani earned her DDS from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry and graduated as a member of the Tau Kappa Omega honor society. She furthered her dental education by completing a residency in Santa Barbara, CA.

Outside of the office, Dr. Lani, our Los Angeles, CA dentist, enjoys spending time with her family, spouse, and friends, as well as swimming, skiing, hiking, camping, and surfing, making the most of the beautiful beaches and mountains of California.

Dr. Wiley grew up in a small town located in the Catskill Mountains in New York, where she earned a scholarship that encouraged those from rural areas to pursue careers in healthcare. She attended Bryn Mawr College, receiving her undergraduate degree in biology and environmental studies and competed on the cross country and track teams. Her dental training and degree was earned from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she received honors in community health and vulnerable communities. In her spare time, Dr. Wiley likes to be outdoors, make floral arrangements, and practice yoga, pilates and tennis. Fun facts about Dr. Wiley’s heritage is that her great grandparents were Japanese chrysanthemum farmers in the Bay area, her grandpa was a Japanese dentist who practiced in Long Beach, and her mother is a hygienist in Long Beach.
